This year with Christmas Day, falling on a Sunday we will be modifying our service schedule for Christmas Day, December 25. All the Sunday morning and evening services will be consolidated to one morning service at 10:30 AM. See below for additional details.

Sunday Morning Schedule

On Saturday, November 12, 2011 we will have a men's work activity cleaning up some of the wooded areas of the church property. We will begin at 8:00 AM, have a brief lunch and conclude around 3:00 PM.

We will be removing brush and trees to increase the visibility of the church building. If you have a chain saw we encourage you to bring it, other wise there will be other cleanup areas you can participate in.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday at the Hall Bunyan Day activity at Maranatha Baptist Church.

The MBC Teens will have several things going on this month that we're excitied about! On Thursday, September 15, we will be going bowling! PTL! We recieved a great deal on tickets! However, only a limited number of tickets are available! If you're intereested, please hurry and sign up! The cost is $5 a ticket, and includes a ride to and from the rink, 2 games of bowling, a pair of shoes, a soft drink, and you get to hang out with Bro. Joey and Mrs. Laura! (ok, that last part isn't THAT great) We will be leaving the church at 4:50 PM, and we should get back around 7 or 7:30 PM.

Maranatha Baptist Church's 2011 Mission's Conference has been one of the most exciting yet! Every Saturday, MBC members will meet and go door knocking and soul winning in the late morning and into the afternoon. On June 4, we did the same thing... only we had a little more help! Along with the regular members who go, we also had our Teen Soulwinning time, and had our Missionaries and featured speaker, Pastor Scott Baker, join us. We want to thank everyone who had a part in our effort to spread the Gospel to Newburgh and the surrounding areas!
